CHALLENGE
In 2019, the Les p’tits bécots childcare centre (CPE) was moved by the ambition to become the first outdoors childcare centre on the North Shore. This was a bold project which required significant mobilization and a clear path to achieve it.
PROPOSED SOLUTION
MU Conseils supported the childcare centre in developing and positioning a distinctive service offer in line with the outdoors. To achieve this, a strategic plan and an action plan were developed, in cooperation with management, the board of directors, educators, parents, and even… the children!
RESULTS
- Strategic analysis of the childcare centre’s internal and external environment to define solid bases for the project;
- Development and support for implementation strategies, including parent relationships and community partnership strategies;
- Strong involvement of educators in project development;
- Daily exploration and enhancement of the childcare centre’s natural surroundings by the children, with a view to education through Nature.
